TempestRemap is an open-source software package designed for conservative, consistent, and monotonic remapping (regridding) of Earth system model data between arbitrary mesh geometries, such as finite volumes or finite elements. It is primarily used in Earth system modeling to transfer data between different computational grids (e.g., atmosphere to ocean).
